Job Description

Midwood EMS, a Brooklyn-based ambulance service, is seeking an EMS Recruiter to build and sustain a strong talent pipeline. This role centers on sourcing, screening, and end-to-end staffing across entry to experienced levels, collaborating with hiring managers to define requirements and craft effective recruitment strategies. The position is onsite in Brooklyn, NY and full-time, focused on delivering a positive candidate experience while meeting the organization’s staffing needs.

Overview

A Brooklyn-based ambulance company is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Recruiter to drive sourcing, candidate engagement, and the full hiring process to meet staffing demands. The ideal candidate will bring understanding of Emergency Medical Service industry careers and the ability to engage candidates across multiple levels, working closely with hiring managers throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to clarify job specifications and craft engaging descriptions.
  • Source candidates across multiple channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and campus outreach.
  • Lead thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate qualifications and fit for the organization.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from initial contact through onboarding.
  • Foster strong candidate relationships to ensure a positive experience throughout the process.
  • Stay current with trends and best practices in technical and executive recruiting.
  • Support training initiatives for new hires to ensure smooth transitions into their roles.

  • EMS recruiting experience: 2 years (Required)

  • Willingness to commit to 75% travel (Required)
