Job Description
Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Full Life Cycle Recruiter for AWS Networking and AIS Tech roles, onsite in Seattle, WA, with a salary range of USD 72,600 to 138,700 per year.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for Technical Infrastructure Program Manager and International Business Developer - Tech roles within AWS Infrastructure Services, guiding requisitions from intake through offer and onboarding, using telecom knowledge to source, assess, and close qualified candidates.
- Proactively source passive tech professionals with telecom backgrounds using Boolean, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other tools to identify candidates with telecom infrastructure, carrier partnerships, network deployment programs, and international business development experience.
- Conduct phone screens and technical assessments to evaluate qualifications, compensation expectations, and skill level, while setting realistic expectations for interview processes, compensation, and leveling.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to refine sourcing and closing strategies, sharing market intelligence on telecom talent availability, compensation trends, and effective engagement approaches.
- Coach candidates on behavioral interviewing and negotiate offers to close qualified candidates, communicating AWS value propositions for Seattle and Arlington locations.
- Own recruiting projects that improve hiring effectiveness and metrics, including pipeline activity, conversion rates, candidate experience, and cycle time; provide sourcing methodology and interview training to hiring teams.
- Refine processes by identifying risks, removing blockers such as interview availability and calibrated interviewers, and driving timely decisions to accelerate progress.
- Monitor external talent pipelines and telecom industry trends to engage hiring managers in sourcing opportunities and process improvements.
- Drive positive candidate experiences by guiding hiring teams to follow recruiting best practices, crafting compelling job descriptions, and delivering clear value propositions and professional interactions.
- Recommend strategies to improve pipeline health and quality, introducing new sourcing and closing techniques for hard-to-fill telecom technical openings.
- Document recruiting plans with deliverables, timelines, and metrics to track pipeline development, candidate engagement effectiveness, and hiring outcomes.
- Participate in special projects and recruiting initiatives while mentoring new team members and pursuing operational excellence improvements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of closing candidates and negotiating offers.
- 3+ years of technical recruiting including full life cycle experience.
- 3+ years recruiting mid-senior level talent.
- Knowledge of social media recruiting and current market trends.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in network planning, network construction/implementation, or commercial implementation in an ISP, telecoms operator, or Hyperscaler
- Experience with advanced SQL for data mining and business intelligence, or experience as a lean sensei
