Job Description
Full-time, on-site Healthcare Recruiter in Abilene, TX responsible for sourcing and placing RNs, LVNs, and allied health professionals, with emphasis on rural and regional nurse staffing.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and place Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs), and allied health professionals for local and regional assignments.
- Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines through cold calling, referrals, and outreach strategies.
- Schedule interviews, conduct initial screenings, and manage candidate follow-ups.
- Track and manage candidate profiles using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
- Maintain long-term candidate relationships, with a focus on travel nurse and PRN markets.
- Collaborate closely with internal staff in the Abilene, TX office.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of nurse staffing experience, ideally in a staffing agency or healthcare system.
- Experience in healthcare staffing, preferably working with nurses (RNs, LVNs) or allied health professionals.
- Strong knowledge of the allied and nurse staffing healthcare community.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- High confidence with outbound recruitment tactics, including cold calling and lead generation.
- Skilled in navigating ATS/CRM software.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
- Must live in or near Abilene, TX, and be willing to work on-site daily.
