Job Description

ID Logistics is hiring an on-site Human Resource Business Partner to support site leadership and operations with HR strategy aligned to business needs. In this role, you will partner closely with teams across two facilities and help strengthen employee relations, performance management, talent planning, and workforce engagement.

This position is based onsite in Elizabethtown, PA, with travel to support a second facility in Jacksonville, FL. Coverage across all shifts is required, so flexible on-site presence is essential.

What you’ll do

  • Collaborate with operations leaders to align HR strategies with business goals and operational priorities, identifying workforce trends, organizational opportunities and challenges, and recommending solutions that support engagement, productivity, retention, and business performance.
  • Lead talent strategies for high-volume hourly and salaried hiring, including development, succession planning, and retention, partnering to identify talent needs and strengthen leadership pipelines.
  • Serve as a trusted coach and advisor to site leaders on employee management, leadership effectiveness, performance management, team development, and organizational challenges to build stronger leadership capability.
  • Advise on complex employee relations matters, conduct workplace investigations, support conflict resolution, help maintain a positive, respectful, compliant work environment, and represent the organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations as needed.
  • Oversee performance appraisal processes, develop performance improvement plans, and support managers in setting and achieving performance goals; create counseling and coaching opportunities for on-site staff that reinforce accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with leaders to assess workforce needs, optimize organizational structure, support staffing plans aligned to business growth, and lead change management initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness and the employee experience.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures remain up-to-date and compliant with federal, state, and local legal requirements, including guidance on HR policies and management of employment law, wage and hour regulations, leave administration, workplace accommodations, and employee relations best practices.
  • Use HRIS tools to analyze workforce metrics and drive decisions, monitoring trends in turnover, retention, recruiting, absenteeism, and engagement, and preparing reports for senior management on HR trends, challenges, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Champion initiatives that support a positive, inclusive, high-performing culture, including efforts to improve employee satisfaction, recognition, engagement, and retention through surveys, feedback mechanisms, employee programs, and targeted action plans.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate development opportunities that strengthen employee skills, leadership effectiveness, and overall organizational capability.
  • Support an inclusive workplace where employees are respected, valued, and empowered.
  • Enforce company safety rules by following corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices, elevate noncompliance to operations leadership, and reinforce a safety and accountability culture.
  • Travel to cover and support two facilities: Elizabethtown, PA and Jacksonville, FL.

Required qualifications

  • High school diploma plus relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in on-site HR management or HR leadership, with a proven record managing HR functions and HR team members.
  • Strong experience advising operations leaders on business practices and business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, local and state employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide practical solutions to complex HR issues.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work a flexible on-site schedule and handle issues that may arise after business hours.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish ability without the use of translation services or technologies.

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
  • HR certification (for example, SHRM-CP or PHR).
  • ADP Workforce HRIS experience.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish without the use of translation services or technologies.

Schedule and location

  • On-site only role with no remote or hybrid option.
  • Site operates M-F with 1st and 2nd shifts, requiring HR presence on-site for all shifts.
  • Standard schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with rotating weeks’ coverage for the 2nd shift.
  • Flexibility for days and nights as needed.
  • Work locations: Elizabethtown, PA and Jacksonville, FL.

  • Annual salary: USD 90,000 - 100,000 plus bonus.
