Job Description

The State of Idaho is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner II to deliver a full spectrum of HR services onsite at the Idaho Transportation Department in Lewiston, Idaho. The position may support multiple agencies, with compensation ranging from USD 2,821 to 2,894 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR consultation and services to applicants, staff, and managers across several functional areas including leave administration, medical accommodations, recruitment, benefits, compensation, classification, and employee relations.
  • Advise supervisors and managers on performance management processes and improvement strategies.
  • Offer guidance on career and succession planning, organization design, and job design.
  • Support efforts to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Monitor and assess compliance with applicable laws, rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in complaint inquiries, investigations, and resolutions.
  • May perform payroll processing and related duties.

Requirements

  • Experience in human resources administration.
  • Knowledge of equal employment opportunity and related legal requirements.
  • Ability to interpret, explain, and apply laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Skill in researching and preparing reports and recommendations.
  • Experience conducting in-depth interviews.
