Human Resource Coordinator
Job Description
ImpactBio is building a people-first workplace in Tampa, FL, and is now hiring a Human Resource Coordinator to support the full employee lifecycle. You will report to the Director of Human Resources and help keep HR processes running smoothly across onboarding, HR operations, employee support, and offboarding. A key part of the role is maintaining accurate HRIS records and providing administrative support that enables HR and leadership to focus on employees and performance management.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of new hire onboarding, including preparing, distributing, tracking, and following up on employment documentation
- Partner with HR team members to deliver a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for every new hire
- Communicate with employees, managers, and internal stakeholders regarding onboarding status, employment documentation, and HR-related inquiries
- Facilitate electronic completion of employment documents, company policies, and acknowledgements
- Schedule and support new hire orientation
- Maintain employee records and ensure accurate documentation within the HRIS
- Generate recurring HR reports and maintain employee data integrity
- Respond to employee questions and direct inquiries related to payroll, benefits, HR policies, and other employment matters
- Assist managers and HR leadership with performance management activities, employee communications, and personnel documentation
- Coordinate employee offboarding, including exit interviews and separation documentation
- Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives focused on enhancing the employee experience
- Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources department as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred)
- Previous administrative experience required; Human Resources experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with HRIS platforms is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
