Job Description
Join the Alaska Department of Fish and Game as a Human Resource Technician 2 in Juneau, AK (hybrid). This journey level role supports DFG managers, supervisors, and employees, with a strong focus on technical recruitment assistance and accurate HR information for hiring teams.

Role responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to DFG staff
- Deliver journey level human resource technical assistance to DFG managers, supervisors, and employees
- Support DFG’s Recruitment by providing accurate human resource information to hiring managers and Fish & Game employees
- Provide technical support assisting with DFG’s recruitment
Minimum qualifications
- Six (6) months of entry technical level experience in human resource work equivalent to a Human Resource Technician 1 with the State of Alaska, or the equivalent elsewhere
- Substitution option: Graduation from high school or the equivalent and one (1) year of advanced clerical experience
- Substitution option: One (1) year of postsecondary education (32 semester hours or 48 quarter hours from an accredited college or university equals one year)
Special note: A valid driver’s license is preferred but not required.
