Job Description

AC Sweepers & Maintenance is seeking an onsite Human Resources and Operations Coordinator to support HR operations and office administration from our Morrow, GA headquarters. This full-time role covers recruiting, onboarding, records management, compliance tracking, and payroll-related support to keep daily workflows running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, from job postings and candidate screening to interview coordination and compiling hiring documentation.
  • Oversee new hire onboarding and orientation, ensuring completion of employment paperwork (I-9s, W-4s, acknowledgments) and proper maintenance of personnel files.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and keep HR documentation complete and compliant.
  • Assist with employee relations by answering questions, logging workplace issues, and supporting management with HR processes.
  • Manage separations, conduct exit interviews, and ensure recovery of company equipment and property.
  • Support policy updates and staff communications.
  • Uphold confidentiality of employee and company information at all times.
  • Collect, review, and verify time records for payroll processing.
  • Coordinate payroll submissions and assist with payroll audits, corrections, and reporting.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable employment laws, OSHA, DOT as appropriate, and company policies.
  • Maintain compliance tracking for licenses, certifications, and required training.
  • Assist with audits and requests for employment records.
  • Provide administrative support to company leadership.
  • Coordinate office operations, calendars, records management, and reporting.
  • Manage office vendors, supplies, and related administrative processes.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for leadership meetings, including spreadsheets.
  • Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Review communications from field supervisors and office staff to keep hiring, onboarding, payroll deadlines, and operational priorities on track.
  • Process payroll-related documentation and support corrections or urgent compliance requests.
  • Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Recruiting, Office Administration, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, payroll processes, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed.
