Job Description

Join Apple Valley Foods in Austin, MN as a Human Resources Assistant to support onboarding, recruitment events, employee inquiries, and front-desk duties onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome new hires and help them settle in.
  • Conduct orientations and complete onboarding paperwork.
  • Answer employee questions with professionalism and positivity.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviews, and hiring events.
  • Maintain employee files with organized, thorough records.
  • Assist with lockers, uniforms, and various HR requests.
  • Provide support at the front reception desk when needed.
  • Handle scanning, filing, emailing, copying, and related administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed.
