Job Description

Proactive and organized Human Resources Assistant supporting talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance to keep HR operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with talent acquisition activities including sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting onboarding processes.
  • Support benefits administration by processing enrollments and addressing employee inquiries.
  • Coordinate employee health compliance programs and records.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable employment and labor laws, OSHA standards, and affirmative action planning efforts.
  • Manage data entry for employee compliance tracking to ensure accurate data for workforce management reports.
  • Assist in employee relations activities by addressing basic inquiries and providing guidance.
  • Maintain up-to-date Agency Policies and Procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience in administrative roles, preferably within an HR environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and computer literacy.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Familiarity with employment and labor law requirements, including OSHA, and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated project management capability with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Paycom experience is preferred.
