Human Resources Business Partner
Job Description
The Human Resources Business Partner role at KEYSTONE MANAGEMENT supports a multi-site workforce by combining day-to-day HR administration with employee experience, HR compliance, and continuous process improvement.
Location and Work Setup
- Location: Atlanta, GA
- Work mode: Onsite
- Travel: Occasional travel between sites may be required
- Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours
Key Responsibilities
- Process accurate bi-weekly payroll for employees across multiple locations.
- Maintain payroll records, including deductions and time-off balances.
- Answer employee payroll questions, addressing discrepancies and garnishments as needed.
- Manage payroll changes associated with new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
- Collaborate with Finance/Accounting on payroll reconciliation and year-end reporting.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on HR matters.
- Support resolution of employee concerns by escalating when necessary and documenting actions.
- Assist with investigations and maintain confidential records.
- Support employees through benefits enrollment, including questions and changes.
- Coordinate with benefits providers to resolve issues and maintain accurate records.
- Support annual open enrollment and communicate updates to employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and documentation.
- Assist with audits, workers’ compensation claims, and leave-of-absence administration.
- Coordinate performance review cycles and track employee training, certifications, and development plans.
- Contribute to initiatives such as policy updates, employee engagement programs, and HR process improvements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen compliance, and enhance the overall employee experience.
Required Experience and Education
- Minimum experience: 5+ years
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred) (or 5+ years of relevant HR experience in lieu of a degree)
- Background: 5+ years of HR experience in a generalist or HR coordinator role
- Additional: Facilities management experience is a plus
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, employment laws, and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems, including Insperity, CoAdvantage, and Paylocity (preferred).
- Excellent organization, high attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
