Job Description

The HR Coordinator provides administrative support to the Human Resources function across multiple U.S. locations, assisting with onboarding, HRIS data entry, employee documentation, benefits administration, and compliance tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding processes, including preparing offer letters, gathering new hire paperwork, conducting background checks, and entering data into the HRIS to ensure accurate system records.
  • Process employee status changes in the HRIS, such as job changes, compensation updates, transfers, and terminations, while maintaining data integrity.
  • Maintain organized employee files and HR records in compliance with federal and state regulations, including management of I-9 documentation.
  • Support offboarding activities, including preparation of separation documentation, final payroll considerations, and unemployment claim preparation as needed.
  • Track leaves of absence, accommodations, training, and other compliance-related items to support timely policy adherence and reporting.
  • Assist employees with benefits questions and coordinate with benefits vendors to resolve issues and support enrollments.
  • Provide basic payroll support, including data audits, addressing payroll inquiries, and coordinating with payroll processors.
  • Support HR reporting tasks, including headcount, workforce metrics, compliance reporting, and other standard HR analytics.
  • Respond to general HR inbox inquiries and route complex matters to an HR Business Partner or HR Director as appropriate.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, investigations, and documentation preparation to facilitate timely HR processes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of HR administrative or coordinator experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
  • Experience with HRIS systems, Dayforce preferred
  • Knowledge of basic federal and state employment laws
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills and experience supporting HR reporting

Compensation

  • Hourly rate: USD 26 - 31 per hour
