Human Resources Coordinator
Job Description
Northshore Health Centers Inc seeks a Human Resources Coordinator to support the Employment Manager across HR operations, including onboarding, employee inquiries, orientation, verifications, reporting, disciplinary actions, and training, while collaborating with HR to align activities with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and maintain onboarding materials for incoming candidates.
- Coordinate and document the all-day new hire orientation in partnership with the department's HR Generalist(s).
- Lead the Student Programs, building relationships with nearby schools, managing affiliation agreements, assisting student onboarding and placement with providers, and implementing student orientation.
- Attend and participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as needed.
- Stay current on HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employment law.
- Manage employee lifecycle data entry within HR systems.
- Compile and run various HR reports to support decision making.
- Monitor HR communications, respond to inquiries, and route issues to the appropriate parties.
- Collaborate with management and staff to improve work relationships, boost morale, and enhance productivity and retention.
- Provide policy guidance and interpretation, assist with updating and communicating changes to the Employee Handbook.
- Complete employment verifications upon request from external entities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Employment Manager and / or Senior Director of Human Resources.
- Note: duties are subject to change and additional responsibilities may be assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required Role Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

- Two years of experience working within a healthcare setting.
- Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- HR accredited certification (PHR, SHRM, etc.).
