Job Description

Amity Home Care LLC offers a supportive, people-first environment for an onsite Human Resources Coordinator role in Bridgeport, CT. You will help strengthen key HR processes while contributing to employee experience through onboarding, performance support, benefits administration, and workforce planning. The position also supports professional development, with benefits including paid time off, paid jury duty, parental leave, professional development assistance, and a referral program. The role is full-time, working 40.0 hours per week, with an hourly pay range of $20.00 to $23.00.

What you’ll do

  • Support talent acquisition by assisting with recruiting strategies, screening candidates, and coordinating interview processes using HR systems such as ATS platforms including iCIMS or Taleo.
  • Coordinate new employee orientation to help ensure onboarding experiences align with company policies and culture.
  • Assist with employee evaluation and performance management by entering data, tracking performance, and collecting feedback.
  • Manage benefits administration tasks, including enrollment and changes, and communicate benefits options while ensuring compliance with regulations such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act).
  • Contribute to workforce management activities such as staffing plans, organization design, succession planning, and affirmative action planning to support diversity and inclusion.
  • Maintain confidentiality for personnel information with integrity while following employment and labor law and HR legal compliance standards.
  • Support training and development by coordinating sessions, tracking participation, and helping employees engage in continuous learning initiatives.

What you bring

  • Proven experience in human resources management or HR department experience with a strong understanding of employment law as it relates to talent management.
  • Proficiency with HR systems (with technical support), including Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors, plus Microsoft Office tools such as Excel for data analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability in project management, organization design, change management, and strategic planning within HR functions.
  • Excellent communication skills for employee relations, conflict management, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Knowledge of workers’ compensation, payroll processing, personnel administration, and regulatory compliance management.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining high confidentiality standards.
  • Strong administrative skills, including data entry, contract management, interviewing support, and use of ATS platforms such as UltiPro or Kenexa BrassRing.
