Job Description

Hanwha Q Cells is hiring a full-time, onsite Human Resources Generalist in White, GA. This role partners with the HR Manager to deliver innovative people solutions across talent development, organizational design, and strategic decision-making. While the focus is on employee relations, you will oversee the full spectrum of HR disciplines, including workforce planning, learning and development, and performance management. Responsibilities

  • Oversee employee relations matters, including disputes, corrective actions, and HR investigations
  • Address employer relations issues with discretion and professionalism
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, and the employee lifecycle end to end
  • Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure smooth transitions for new hires
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employees, answering inquiries and resolving HR-related issues
  • Assist in creating and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with leadership to shape policies, programs, and services in recruitment, retention, performance management, and employee relations
  • Coordinate HR activities across all levels of the organization
  • Assess situations to forecast key issues and needs
  • Evaluate options and recommend appropriate actions
  • Prepare separation notices and related documentation and conduct exit interviews
  • Support other duties and special projects as assigned
  • Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans
  • Offer guidance to employees and managers on performance-related matters
  • Identify training needs and collaborate to design and deliver training programs
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
  • Generate HR reports and analyze metrics to inform decisions
  • Stay informed about changes in labor laws and ensure organizational compliance
  • Work with legal counsel as needed to address HR-related legal matters

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR roles with generalist responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • Dependable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills and thorough knowledge of plan designs
  • Ability to understand, evaluate, and judge benefit plan proposals
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Worker's Compensation, Medicare, Social Security, and DOL requirements
  • PHR or SHRM certification
