Job Description

Ivanhoe Electric is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the day-to-day Human Resources function from an onsite location in Casa Grande, AZ. This role helps keep recruiting, onboarding, employee records, and HRIS data running smoothly while also supporting employment inquiries, correspondence, and compliance-related efforts.

Working closely with hiring teams and internal partners, the Human Resources Generalist coordinates key people operations activities, including interview logistics, new hire setup in company systems, and ongoing HR administrative support. The position also contributes to HR projects, audits, reports, and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the interview process for qualified applicants, including coordinating interview schedules with department managers.
  • Partner with IT and department managers to ensure new hires are properly set up in company systems.
  • Conduct the onboarding process for all new hires.
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and/or paper format.
  • Complete routine ADP data entry tasks, including updates related to salary, supervisor assignments, and terminations.
  • Respond to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
  • Manage HR correspondence by drafting letters and documents and routing items as needed.
  • Organize and prepare for meetings by gathering required documents and handling meeting logistics.
  • Assist with HR projects, reports, audits, and administrative activities as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn ADP Workforce Now HRIS and talent management system.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of human resources experience, preferably in recruiting and onboarding (required).
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS (preferred).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced or growing organization (referred).
