Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment for assigned locations, collaborating with hiring managers to define role requirements and required competencies.
  • Perform advanced screening, interviewing, and selection activities for roles that are complex or high impact.
  • Carry out background checks and verify work eligibility, including pre-employment reference checks and extending offers of employment.
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions and supervise employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
  • Deliver employee education and training, support leadership, and implement HR programs covering compensation, benefits, leave of absence, performance management, recognition, and morale initiatives.
  • Coordinate mandatory and voluntary training offerings, including safety, anti-harassment, licensure, and professional development.
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters at the location.
  • Lead and document employee investigations, disciplinary discussions, and terminations with limited supervision.
  • Manage the offboarding process, including exit procedures, ensuring proper documentation, clear communication, and return of company assets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in talent management and employment law.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal requirements and Bridgeway standards.

Requirements

  • An associate degree in human resources or a related field with at least 2 years of current HR experience; candidates with three or more years of recent HR experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Valid driver's license and adherence to Bridgeway insurability requirements, with reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel 5 to 10 percent for meetings, training, and occasional site visits.
