Human Resources Generalist (HRG)

Aviata Health Group is hiring a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) for an onsite role in Green Cove Springs, FL. In this position, you will oversee the delivery of human resources services, policies, and programs across multiple skilled nursing home care centers, while supporting recruitment, retention, leadership development, and regulatory compliance.

This HRG role combines day-to-day HR leadership with hands-on support for facility teams, including mentoring HR Coordinator staff and partnering with department leaders to build strong staffing and engagement initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee and lead HR departments for multiple skilled nursing home care centers.
• Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development for facility management, team members, and HR Coordinator staff across care centers.
• Direct and oversee the work of full-time employees within the care centers.
• Assist department heads with recruitment and hiring, including orientation and training aligned to facility programs and services across multiple care centers.
• Design and implement care center recruitment and retention programs.
• Evaluate candidates and make significant recommendations regarding hiring decisions.
• Develop and lead employee recognition and engagement programs and initiatives across multiple care centers.
• Maintain and guide implementation of facility HR policies and procedures to support corporate, state, federal, and other regulatory guidelines.
• Support continuous improvement through new ideas and concepts that enhance systems and processes and drive strong outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Human Resources, and Organization Development required.
• SPHR or PHR preferred.
• Minimum four (4) years of related Human Resources experience required.
• Must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
