Human Resources Manager

Picuris Pueblo invites a qualified HR professional to lead people operations as the Human Resources Manager in Peñasco, NM. This onsite role offers an hourly wage range of $24 to $30 and a benefits package designed to support long-term well-being and financial security. A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

As HR Manager, you will oversee the full spectrum of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, development, performance management, and regulatory compliance, to attract, develop, and retain a skilled and motivated workforce.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent
• Manage the hiring lifecycle including postings, interviews, and onboarding
• Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs
• Address employee concerns and facilitate conflict resolution
• Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture
• Create and implement performance appraisal systems
• Monitor performance and provide guidance for improvement
• Assess training needs and coordinate development programs
• Lead leadership development and skills-building initiatives
• Oversee compensation structure and benefits offerings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of HR management experience
• Solid knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
• Demonstrated leadership and sound decision-making abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
