Job Description
The Printing House Hotel offers an onsite leadership role in Nashville for a Human Resources Manager who can drive HR administration, payroll, benefits, recruitment, and compliance across operations. Responsibilities
- Train on and manage all payroll systems at the property
- Oversee benefit enrollment programs in line with corporate expectations
- Direct property-level recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of new employees
- Ensure labor posters are compliant and up to date, addressing deficiencies as needed
- Serve as a moderator between employees and management with discretion and professionalism
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive documents in compliance with labor laws
- Know and enforce all company policies and procedures at the department level
- Communicate and administer the company disciplinary processes fairly
- Assist with annual performance reviews, guiding managers in fair evaluations
- Maintain a thorough accident and incident reporting program and timely submissions
- Understand and maintain programs such as E verify and background screening in a compliant manner
- Track workers compensation, EEOC, unemployment, and other employee-related documents, consulting the Corporate Director of HR as needed
- Collaborate with maintenance staff and department managers to uphold safety practices and promptly address issues
- Maintain employee files to comply with state labor laws
- Be an active member of the management team, engaging with employees on the shop floor and in departments
- Provide assistance to other departments and the General Manager as requested
Requirements
- High School Diploma required; college degree preferred
- 3 to 4 years of related HR experience
- Minimal travel; may attend job fairs, conferences, or events as requested by the GM
- Workload may involve 50 to 60 hours across five to six days, adhering to company time and attendance policies

Physical job requirements
- Mobility to move, lift, push, pull, carry, stand, walk, and climb stairs; bend and kneel as needed
- Active on-site management with the ability to walk floors during training, orientation, and daily welfare checks
- Assist with event setup and teardown; participate in conferences and off-site meetings
- Support departmental needs as they arise and participate in management activities as requested by the GM
Driving
- Limited driving on occasion for supplies and equipment; may assist with shuttle service if needed
Work environment
- Primarily indoor with potential exterior exposure; extreme temperatures may occur
Hearing, speech, and vision
- Clear communication with directions, guests, and coworkers; strong written and verbal skills for policy communication
- Ability to train, mentor, and administer discipline to engineering staff; compose professional emails
- Capability to read and respond to reports and written policies accurately
Chemicals and agents
- Potential exposure to water treatments, cleaning agents, degreasers, and related chemicals
Equipment operation
- Frequent use of standard office systems and equipment; familiarity with basic safety functions and maintenance processes
