Human Resources Manager
Job Description
Southland Companies is seeking an experienced HR professional to guide policy compliance with labor laws, oversee recruitment and onboarding, manage job descriptions and performance reviews, administer benefits, and nurture employee relations to sustain a high-performance culture. This onsite role in Wrightsville Beach, NC offers a salary range of USD 55,000 to 75,000 per year and a focus on aligning HR programs with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Maintain policy, procedure, and program compliance with applicable labor laws while ensuring alignment with our culture.
- Regularly assess recruitment processes to identify improvements.
- Refine onboarding programs to accelerate best-practice adoption and quickly integrate new hires into our culture.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to revise and update job descriptions.
- Adjust the performance review process as needed after consulting with managers and leadership.
- Oversee all benefits and insurance programs.
- Partner with leadership to foster a culture that emphasizes high performance, learning, and growth opportunities.
- Implement appropriate employee relations initiatives and disciplinary actions when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Four or more years of HR experience at the administrative or management level.
- Effective communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
