Human Resources Manager
Job Description
This onsite opportunity based in Tulsa, Oklahoma focuses on leading human resources initiatives to foster a positive, productive workplace. The Human Resources Manager will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment and labor laws, guiding organizational success through strategic workforce planning and change management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee talent acquisition by steering recruiting efforts through applicant tracking system platforms to source and hire top candidates.
- Design and deploy a comprehensive new-hire orientation to ensure proper onboarding and compliance.
- Collaborate with Operations to craft onboarding programs that integrate seamlessly across the organization.
- Manage employee evaluation processes, including performance management systems and individual development plans.
- Administer employee relations by addressing workplace concerns, resolving conflicts with effective strategies, and maintaining a respectful work environment.
- Coordinate benefits programs, including health coverage, retirement plans, and leave programs, ensuring adherence to ERISA and COBRA requirements.
- Partner with Operations to lead change management initiatives in support of restructuring, culture shifts, or process improvements through strategic planning and organization design.
- Ensure compliance with employment law and labor regulations such as FMLA and ADAA, maintaining accurate data collection and records.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of human capital management practices and HRIS systems, with a focus on ADP.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, employee evaluation, and performance management processes.
- Strong understanding of employment law including FMLA.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and lead organizational change initiatives.
- Project management proficiency with the capacity to coordinate multiple HR projects simultaneously.
- Experience in benefits administration, workforce planning strategies, and succession planning.
- Proficiency in data entry and data collection.
- Willingness to perform additional HR duties as required.
- HR certifications are preferred (PHR, SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP).
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible HR experience, including employee relations and supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADAA, and employment law.
- Experience with ADP is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with professionalism.
