Role overview

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to be based in our corporate office in Palm Beach, Florida. The role provides comprehensive HR support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, training, policy compliance, and general administrative duties. It combines HR experience with solid bookkeeping skills and the ability to manage a broad range of administrative tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions and ensuring completion of necessary paperwork.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Assist in resolving employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts, while maintaining confidentiality and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Support payroll processing by maintaining accurate employee records, tracking attendance, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.
  • Coordinate training programs, workshops, and seminars to enhance employee skills and promote professional growth.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting and performance evaluations.
  • Help develop and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation to meet legal requirements and internal audits.
  • Perform various administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office supplies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, and HR policies.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping principles and experience with payroll processing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in HR software systems and familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant HR experience.
