Human Resources Manager

Poipu Bay Golf Course is hiring an experienced Human Resources Manager to support day-to-day people operations in Kauai, HI. This onsite role is focused on maintaining core HR functions while ensuring payroll, employee relations, and labor relations are handled accurately and in compliance with applicable employment requirements.

Reporting into the HR operations function, you will manage key processes that keep the team aligned and supported, including payroll administration, workplace issue resolution, and union-related contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage payroll oversight for the organization
• Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, workplace conflicts, and disciplinary matters
• Support labor relations activities, including negotiating and administering union contracts
• Coordinate and maintain HR operations to support ongoing people processes

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency with ADP payroll software and processing
• Experience negotiating and administering union contracts
• Strong background in handling employee grievances, workplace conflicts, and disciplinary matters
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with management, employees, and union representatives
• PHR or SPHR certification preferred
