Onboarding Specialist - Human Resources (Full Time, 40, Day)

This onsite, full‑time onboarding role in Honolulu, HI combines a day shift with a competitive hourly rate. You will support the onboarding of new hires and transfers, help manage candidate flow, and contribute to employment programs from initial contact through start date.

• Location: Honolulu, Hawaii (onsite)
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Day shift
• Compensation: USD 24 - 29 per hour
• Impact: Play a key role in onboarding, background checks, and coordinating with managers

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the processing of new hires and transfers
• Post, screen, and route qualified candidates to managers
• Make offers and initiate onboarding steps, including background checks and physical exams
• Assist in the administration and maintenance of recruitment and employment programs
• Interpret and administer assigned programs, including recruitment and new hire processing and employment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
• Proficient in computer applications including MS Word and Excel
• Two years of administrative office experience, or one year with a related bachelor’s degree
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
• Experience with PeopleSoft preferred
