Participant Recruiter & Scheduler
Job Description
Firstsource Group USA is seeking hands-on Field / Community Recruiters to support participant recruitment for large-scale, high-volume research studies. This hybrid, flexible-schedule freelance (1099) role combines in-person community outreach with digital recruiting to help meet weekly participant targets and maintain a steady flow of qualified candidates.
The initial engagement is expected to run about 1 to 2 months, with the possibility of additional project-based work through the end of the year. Work will be focused on execution, pipeline management, and day-to-day coordination with onsite teams.
Role Overview
- Execute participant recruitment for high-volume research studies, meeting daily targets.
- Use both on-the-ground outreach and digital recruiting to support weekly participant goals.
- Build and activate local recruiting pipelines through community engagement, outreach, and direct sourcing.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field outreach across local communities, campuses, and public areas.
- Develop relationships with community organizations, educational institutions, and local groups and networks.
- Post and manage roles across digital channels.
- Screen and qualify candidates during the initial recruitment stage.
- Maintain strong pipeline tracking and complete timely follow-ups.
- Support recruitment execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with onsite teams to ensure a continuous participant pipeline.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to work in a high-volume, execution-driven recruiting environment.
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Comfortable with in-person outreach and fieldwork.
- High organization and reliability, with strong follow-through.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Flexible schedule, including availability during standard business hours.
- Work Location: In person (hybrid coordination based on onsite presence when needed).
Preferred Experience
- Experience in field recruiting, community outreach, or grassroots campaigns.
- Experience in event staffing or brand ambassador roles.
- Experience in high-volume hiring or participant recruiting.
- Familiarity with the San Francisco Bay Area.
