Job Description
Circle K is hiring a Recruiter to join the centralized recruiting team on site in Irving, TX. This role focuses on candidate sourcing, interviewing coordination, background checks, and end-to-end recruitment for both store and non-store positions. You will partner with Market Managers, lead internal staffing events, and help drive talent development across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Advise Store Managers on implementing the Centralized Recruiting Process to streamline hiring and ensure consistency across locations.
- Source candidates through multiple channels including online postings, job fairs, and career workshops.
- Conduct remote interviews via phone or Skype for Assistant Store Manager and Manager-in-Training applicants within a defined region.
- Manage the intake and status of background checks by updating the database daily to determine next steps for interviewed candidates.
- Notify Market Managers when interviews for store-level manager candidates are completed.
- Coordinate second interviews in collaboration with Market Managers.
- Facilitate internal job fairs and career workshops to boost engagement and talent development.
- Respond promptly to inquiries related to hiring and recruiting.
- Support HR goals by using ASANA for task management.
- Lead end-to-end recruiting for non-store roles, including phone screening, background checks, reference checks, and offer letter preparation.
- Assist with ordering company tools and coordinating non-store orientation as needed.
- Participate in local college and university job fairs to support recruitment efforts.
- Deliver new hire orientation sessions when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned, which may vary over time.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with clear written and verbal expression.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Intermediate to proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to gather, assess, organize, audit and verify data.
- College background preferred but not mandatory.
- Working conditions: Normal office environment with occasional outdoor exposure when in the field; long hours, weekends, and holidays may be required.
