Onsite in Saint George, UT, UCP Staffing is building teams through thoughtful recruiting and strong client partnership. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter, you will support the full recruiting lifecycle while helping grow talent pipelines across multiple verticals. This full-time role offers a salary of $50,000 per year and a benefits package built for stability and growth.

Recruiting responsibilities
- Manage and communicate job postings.
- Schedule and conduct phone and face to face interviews.
- Interview effectively to understand the technical depth of each candidate.
- Skill market top candidates to generate new business leads and increase placements.
- Use independent judgment to evaluate, hire, and coach temporary associates, including removal from assignments when necessary.
- Partner with Sales Account Executives on workforce solutions, client challenges, and market conditions.
- Proactively build and manage talent pipelines across multiple verticals.
- Use the ATS database and other tools to optimize candidate utilization.
- Oversee the end-to-end candidate lifecycle, maintaining visibility and control of candidate flow, assignment status, and redeployment.
- Develop strong relationships with candidates so their first preference is to work with UCP whether actively looking, on assignment, or as a passive candidate.
- Monitor end-of-assignment transitions.
- Represent UCP Staffing in workforce and unemployment programs by building partnerships with local/state agencies such as Department of Workforce Services, Job Fairs, Vocational Rehab, Trade schools, and Veterans Services.
- Serve as a professional representative in the community, including networking events, hiring fairs, and workforce development initiatives.
- Attend after-hour events as needed to support networking, recruiting, and brand awareness.
- Prepare weekly payroll timecards from the employee workforce.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all services offered by UCP and awareness of the competition.
- Help generate leads through referrals and platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn, leveraging these as sales tools in addition to recruiting.
- Meet or exceed weekly recruiting KPI expectations.
- Organize weekly recruiting efforts using the CRM system, including onboarding, job orders, activities, and opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategic recruiting plans tied to market-specific challenges and evolving workforce trends.
- Analyze hiring trends and workforce data to adjust recruitment strategies and support optimal talent pipeline performance.
- Act as a subject matter expert on local labor markets, compensation trends, and competitor activity to guide internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Recommend process improvements and contribute to policy development related to recruitment and staffing practices.
Requirements
- 4-year College Degree or equivalent business experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
- 1–2 years of recruiting experience or strong desire to learn (preferred).
- Staffing industry recruiting experience, including construction and/or light industrial, is highly preferred.
- Sense of urgency and self-confidence.
- Ability to work well within a quota-driven environment.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Energetic self-manager who can lead and achieve recruiting goals.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions involving matters of significance to the company and its clients.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with experience planning and executing projects with minimal supervision.
Hours and work environment
- Regular office hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
- Work hours may vary based on business needs; nights and weekend hours can be consistently needed.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds; occasionally lift and/or more than 50 pounds.
