Recruiter - Engineering

TEC Group Inc is seeking an experienced Agency Recruiter to join its Engineering & Professional recruiting team. In this hybrid role based in Troy, MI, you will support aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing clients by leading full-cycle recruiting and building talent pipelines across multiple geographic markets.

Working closely with the Sales & Account Development team, you will source, screen, and qualify candidates for technical, professional, and executive-level needs, including contract, contract-to-hire, and direct placement opportunities.

What You’ll Do

• Own full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, qualifying candidates, negotiating offers, and coordinating successful starts.
• Recruit engineering, design, supply chain, technical, and executive-level professionals for Fortune 1000 and OEM clients.
• Create targeted sourcing strategies to identify local talent in multiple geographic markets.
• Build candidate pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and AI-assisted sourcing tools.
• Maintain clear communication with both active and passive candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Partner with Sales & Account Development to understand client requirements, prioritize searches, and present qualified candidates.
• Keep accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Stay connected with consultants throughout their assignments to support engagement and retention.
• Monitor client needs, industry trends, and talent availability to inform recruiting activity.
• Meet established recruiting goals and KPIs while maintaining quality and responsiveness.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of agency or staffing recruiting experience; corporate recruiting experience alone does not meet the requirement.
• Proven success recruiting for technical and professional roles, including engineering, design, supply chain, and executive-level positions.
• Experience supporting clients in aerospace, automotive, automation, energy, and/or advanced manufacturing.
• Strong ability to source and engage candidates for client openings across multiple geographic markets.
• Experience filling contracts, contract-to-hire, and/or direct placement roles.
• Strong sourcing, candidate engagement, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and other sourcing tools.
• Must live within commuting distance of Troy, MI and be available to work in-office four days per week.
