Recruiter, Talent Acquisition

AbbVie seeks a Recruiter in Talent Acquisition to support a dedicated team, develop sourcing strategies, manage open requisitions in SmartRecruiters, and deliver recruiting metrics along with market insights to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment will target a specific team or function, with the possibility of coverage in other areas as assigned.
• Build and sustain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current openings and future needs.
• Conduct pre-screenings, support project management, collaborate with teammates to design sourcing strategies, and provide talent for open roles.
• Proactively identify, source, and manage talent pools aligned with business priorities.
• Oversee open requisitions, keep SmartRecruiters up to date, achieve recruiting metrics, and communicate key results; share knowledge, industry overviews, and analytics with team members and leaders.
• Prepare and approve offer packages, leveraging equity and market competitiveness data.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal employment laws and AbbVie policies for applicant tracking and reporting metrics.
• Establish a true business partnership with hiring managers and leadership on all staffing activities and issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience in a fast paced, competitive environment; 5+ years preferred.
• Strong business presence with the ability to build client confidence and deliver results.
• Proactive recruiting and sourcing experience is essential.
• Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry recruiting experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing requisitions within SmartRecruiters is preferred.

Additional Information

• Compensation range is USD 65,500 to 125,500 annually and reflects the job grade; actual pay may vary based on location and other factors.
• AbbVie offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees, including PTO, health coverage, and a 401(k).
• The position is eligible to participate in the short-term incentive programs.
