Job Description

Detego Health is seeking a proactive, relationship-focused Temporary Recruiter for a three (3) month assignment to drive full-cycle hiring across a range of positions. Based in Omaha, NE (onsite), the recruiter will manage end-to-end recruiting work while partnering closely with hiring managers to support staffing needs and deliver a strong candidate experience.

Role scope

  • Own the recruiting lifecycle from sourcing and screening through interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, position needs, and target candidate profiles.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, supporting a seamless experience for both candidates and interview teams.
  • Facilitate offer discussions and support compensation recommendations in collaboration with Human Resources leadership.
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up throughout the recruitment process.
  • Provide candidates with accurate details on opportunities, benefits, culture, and career growth.
  • Support a positive, professional experience for all applicants.

Sourcing, branding, and recruiting operations

  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, employee referrals, professional associations, and other recruiting channels.
  • Promote Detego Health’s employment brand and employee value proposition.
  • Build relationships with colleges, universities, professional organizations, and community groups to support recruiting initiatives.
  • Use applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies to maintain accurate candidate records and reporting.
  • Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, candidate conversion rates, and offer acceptance rates.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Assist with onboarding activities and new hire orientation coordination as needed.
  • Participate in workforce planning discussions and hiring strategy meetings.
  • Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives through recruiting practices.
  • Partner with HR colleagues on talent acquisition projects and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred). Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience recruiting for healthcare, insurance, TPA, customer service, claims, analytics, operations, or corporate functions (preferred).
  • Experience using an ATS, preferably Paycom or a similar HRIS/ATS platform.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and recruiting passive candidates.
  • Strong interviewing, assessment, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and recruiting technologies.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and recruiting compliance requirements.
  • Ability to analyze recruiting metrics and make data-driven recommendations.

Compensation and work setting

  • Pay: Up to $7,500.00 per month

Preferred qualifications

  • Healthcare, healthcare administration, managed care, or insurance industry recruiting experience.
  • Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, AIRS, or LinkedIn Recruiter Certification.
  • Experience supporting remote and multi-state recruiting efforts.
