Recruiting Lead – Corporate Talent Acquisition

The Recruiting Lead will oversee the Corporate Recruiting team, guiding onboarding, training, workload management, process improvements, and close collaboration with hiring managers for corporate and professional roles. This onsite role in Houston offers the opportunity to shape recruiting strategy in a fast-growing business segment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the day-to-day lead for the Corporate Recruiting team.
- Assist with onboarding and training new recruiters.
- Monitor recruiter workloads and assist with requisition prioritization.
- Ensure recruiting processes are executed consistently and efficiently.
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and best practices across the recruiting team.
- Act as the first point of contact for recruiter questions and day-to-day issues.
- Escalate staffing challenges, process concerns, and hiring risks to the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers and business leaders.
- Provide regular updates on recruiting activity and hiring progress.
- Recommend recruiting strategies based on market conditions and business needs.
- Manage a full requisition load supporting corporate and professional-level positions.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies and hiring plans.
- Source, screen, interview, and recommend qualified candidates.
- Prepare and negotiate employment offers within established guidelines.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience from application through onboarding.
- Monitor open requisitions and recruiting metrics.
- Assist in balancing recruiter workloads to meet hiring priorities.
- Review aging requisitions and identify opportunities to improve time-to-fill.
- Ensure accurate documentation and candidate movement within Workday.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and recruiting process enhancements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-cycle corporate recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting exempt and professional-level positions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects or mentor recruiters.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (Workday preferred).
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Position is primarily desk-based, with 80 to 95 percent of time spent at a computer.
