Job Description

Senior Campus Recruiter at Aprio, based in Hackensack, NJ (hybrid), responsible for developing and executing campus recruiting strategy across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, managing campus relationships, on-campus engagement, candidate pipelines, interview and selection processes, and offer management with travel during recruiting season.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the campus recruiting strategy for designated colleges in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic
  • Foster and sustain relationships with career services, faculty, and student groups such as accounting societies and affinity organizations
  • Create campus-specific engagement plans, including events, partnerships, and targeted outreach
  • Identify opportunities to broaden our presence and strengthen brand recognition on target campuses
  • Represent Aprio at career fairs, networking events, information sessions, and student organization activities
  • Travel extensively during recruiting season to support on-site campus activities
  • Deliver presentations, lead student conversations, and act as a visible brand ambassador
  • Collaborate with firm leadership and teams to ensure consistent campus messaging and presence
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of interns and entry-level candidates from first contact to offer
  • Screen and advance candidates in partnership with hiring teams
  • Maintain accurate candidate tracking, collect feedback, and report on pipeline status
  • Promote timely decisions aligned with hiring goals and timelines
  • Schedule and facilitate interviews on-campus and virtually
  • Collect interview feedback and synthesize recommendations
  • Support offer discussions and candidate selection decisions
  • Maintain a high-quality, consistent evaluation process aligned with firm standards
  • Deliver a best-in-class candidate experience from first touch through offer acceptance
  • Conduct timely follow-up with personalized engagement to keep candidates engaged
  • Guide candidates through the offer process to drive acceptance and onboarding
  • Maintain relationships with candidates post-offer to support yield and retention
  • Contribute to broader early-talent initiatives such as internships, mentorships, and campus ambassador programs
  • Support recruiting projects, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Partner with HR, Talent Development, and office leadership on hiring needs and workforce planning
  • Assist with event planning, program execution, and recruiting operations as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in campus recruiting (required)
  • Proven track record in managing full-cycle campus recruiting and university relationships
  • Able and willing to travel frequently during recruiting seasons
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campuses, timelines, and priorities

  • USD 85,000 - 107,000 per year
