Senior Recruiter/Talent Acquisition
Job Description
TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT, LLC offers an on-site Senior Recruiter role in Long Beach, CA with a competitive annual salary of USD 80,000 to 85,000. This position serves as a strategic talent acquisition partner across all branch locations, shaping sourcing strategies and prioritizing a strong candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Responsibilities
- Support HR in end-to-end recruitment activities across the organization
- Collaborate with the VP of People Operations to define role requirements, uphold service quality, and accelerate hiring and onboarding timelines
- Oversee recruitment for both high-volume roles and professional or leadership positions
- Manage job postings via the ATS and external job boards
- Source candidates through networks such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and Monster
- Review resumes and screen candidates to evaluate qualifications
- Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews using structured tools and best practices
- Coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers and candidates
- Provide timely updates on offers, start dates, compensation, position status, and onboarding timelines
- Plan and participate in job fairs and recruitment events, including travel to branch locations as needed
- Develop and maintain job descriptions, screening tools, assessments, and interview guides
- Lead the Talent Acquisition and onboarding teams
- Build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline for current and future needs
- Nurture relationships with candidates, employees, and external partners
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and report to People Operations leadership
- Design and execute innovative recruiting strategies to sustain a steady flow of qualified applicants for key roles
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present findings clearly
- Solid understanding of recruitment processes and employment law frameworks
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and recruitment technologies, including ATS platforms
- Strong interpersonal and customer service capabilities
- Proven critical thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
- Effective negotiation and influencing capabilities
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition strongly preferred
- Prior leadership or team management experience preferred
