Job Description
PSI CRO is hiring a Specialist Talent Acquisition to support full-cycle recruiting for roles in the United States and Canada. This remote position focuses on building strong candidate pipelines, managing sourcing through offer, and improving hiring outcomes using data and process feedback.
You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and external partners to understand position needs, develop recruiting materials, and ensure an efficient and positive candidate experience. The role also includes reporting recruiting progress and effectiveness for assigned openings.
What you will do
- Own the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned positions in the US and Canada, including screening, interviewing, testing, offer presentation, and coordinating reference/background checks
- Create job advertisements and recruitment materials to support each role
- Post and maintain advertisements on career websites and other media platforms
- Source candidates using job boards, resume databases, and social media
- Use referral channels to identify qualified candidates
- Coordinate with recruitment agencies on position requirements, candidate profiles, and the end-to-end recruitment process
- Review resumes and credentials against required skills and experience for each position
- Schedule interviews and run first-stage interviews for candidates across different position levels, including reporting outcomes
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current openings and future hiring needs across PSI
- Maintain applicant records and interview outcomes in the applicant tracking system
- Develop ongoing relationships with hiring managers to stay aligned on requirements, business needs, and recruitment priorities
- Advise hiring managers on talent acquisition trends and the job market
- Support hiring by developing knowledge of PSI business and functional areas to target the best talent
- Act as the primary point of contact for job candidates, promoting the PSI employer brand and supporting a positive candidate experience
- Deliver progress updates and analytical recruiting reports to the hiring manager, as well as Training & Resourcing
- Evaluate recruiting process and methods for assigned roles and implement improvements when needed
What you bring
- At least 1.5 years of talent sourcing and recruiting experience
- Clinical Research, Pharma, or Biotech recruiting experience is a plus
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, resume databases, social media for recruitment, and/or candidate management systems
- Knowledge of interview techniques and sourcing methods
- Knowledge of employment law and general HR practices
