Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is a W2 contract role based in Tampa, FL with hybrid work options for Fortira Inc. The position supports pre-employment activities across the Americas, prioritizing compliance and efficiency while delivering a positive experience for candidates and Hiring Managers. The role also involves managing cross-functional escalations and may contribute to process improvements. Compensation is USD 27 - 32 per hour.
Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports the Talent Acquisition service model by coordinating pre-employment activities for the Americas, with a focus on compliance, efficiency, and a positive experience for both candidates and Hiring Managers. The role involves handling cross-functional escalations and may participate in process improvement initiatives and program changes.
Responsibilities
- Conducts applicable pre-employment screenings including background checks following adjudication guidelines, drug screens, medical requirements, and motor vehicle reports.
- Initiates I-9 and E-Verify right-to-work processes and provides administrative support for the immigration team.
- Partners across functions to deliver Talent Acquisition guidance and problem solving, working with TA Leads/Team, TA Compliance, HR People Services, HR Workforce Experience, and IT.
- Oversees the Digital Onboarding Experience for candidates and contributes to TA enhancements and issue resolution.
- Responds to inquiries from Candidates and Hiring Managers, applying urgency and sound judgment to resolve issues.
- Troubleshoots technical issues in Workday and other TA systems for internal TA partners.
- Participates in Talent Acquisitions Enablement project teams, including global initiatives.
- Engages in process mapping, documentation, and prepared presentations.

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize and complete projects on time
- Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and problem-solving abilities
- Proactively embraces new trends, education, technology, and tools
- Understanding of US visas (H-1B, L-1, TN, F-1, etc.) with emphasis on compliance and case tracking
- Ability to work with ATS platforms, with Workday ATS experience and scheduling experience preferred
- Knowledge of PERM LCA postings and recruitment campaigns in employment-based green card processes
- Self-starter who manages multiple projects and priorities efficiently
- Spanish, Portuguese, or French language skills are a plus but not required
- 1+ years of HR Admin/Support experience, with preference for Talent Acquisition exposure
