Job Description
At CrossCountry Mortgage, the Talent Acquisition Manager oversees the full lifecycle of recruitment for Loan Officer roles on site in San Juan Capistrano, CA. This role drives proactive sourcing, builds strong talent pipelines, and partners with branch leadership to strengthen the employer brand, all while delivering a high-quality candidate experience to support the company’s growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment for Loan Officer positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, candidate assessment, offer delivery, and onboarding coordination.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and leadership to design and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals and staffing needs.
- Develop and maintain a robust, highly qualified talent pipeline through proactive sourcing, networking, and market research.
- Maintain a fair, consistent, and inclusive hiring process in line with CrossCountry Mortgage policies and best practices.
- Provide a professional, timely, and engaging candidate experience with clear communication and a positive impression across the recruitment lifecycle.
- Champion the employer brand across channels such as social media, career fairs, and industry events to attract top talent.
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics, summarize insights, and report findings to drive continuous improvement and data-driven decisions.
- Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and craft proactive recruiting plans that support growth and production targets.
- Support onboarding and early retention efforts by coordinating with leadership to ensure smooth transitions and effective integration of new hires.
- Remain informed about mortgage industry trends, competitor hiring activity, and compensation benchmarks to stay competitive in talent acquisition.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum five years of recruiting experience, ideally in mortgage, financial services, or sales-driven environments.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM tools.
- Experience maintaining a professional network is preferred.
- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
- Solid prioritization and organizational skills to manage multiple engagements weekly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
