Talent Acquisition Manager
Job Description
Join Doherty Enterprises as a Hybrid Talent Acquisition Manager, supporting hiring needs across the Long Island and NYC Metro market through proactive sourcing, structured screening, and coordinated onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Operations leaders to identify current and upcoming hiring needs
- Build and execute talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans for assigned regions and areas
- Proactively source and engage qualified candidates for open roles
- Review applications and resumes to quickly identify candidates to advance in the process
- Conduct phone screens and first interviews using established tools and processes
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates and set clear expectations for each step
- Coordinate candidate and Operations Leadership schedules to keep interviews and decisions on track
- Arrange pre-employment requirements, including background checks and drug testing, per company procedures and applicable requirements
- Partner with Operations to determine appropriate offers for qualified candidates
- Coordinate new-hire orientation and onboarding activities with Field Support partners
- Maintain accurate recruiting activity and candidate pipeline data in iCIMS to support KPI tracking and reporting
- Develop relationships with external recruiting agencies when additional support is needed for hard-to-fill roles
- Plan and participate in career fairs, college recruiting events, and similar talent acquisition activities
- Evaluate recruiting processes and recommend improvements
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual recruiting KPIs

- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Employment eligibility to work in the United States required
- Restaurant industry experience is preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly to supported locations, meetings, career events, and business activities, including occasional out-of-state travel
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights and weekends when needed
- 1-3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in restaurant or retail
- Value experience with recruiting technology and business applications such as iCIMS and Microsoft Office
- Must be able to travel to restaurants, cafes, and pubs when necessary to meet candidates
- Must be able to travel to the New Jersey corporate office when necessary
- Experience with iCIMS is a plus
- Must live in Nassau County, Brooklyn, or Queens
- Experience held the position of Recruiter rather than being recruited as part of a Restaurant Manager role
- Can work a flexible schedule based on business needs
- Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills
- Strong initiative and sound judgment abilities

Location: Farmingdale, NY (hybrid, in-person) | Job Type: Full-time | Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
Hybrid/Travel Requirements: Hybrid role working remote with travel to restaurants in the Long Island and NYC Metro market when needed. Regular travel required for supported locations, meetings, career events, and business activities, including occasional out-of-state travel, plus travel to restaurants/cafes/pubs and to the New Jersey corporate office when necessary.
