Job Description
This onsite leadership position directs a Talent Acquisition team from Gilbert, AZ, overseeing full-cycle recruiting across several markets. The role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution to build effective recruiting strategies, refine hiring processes, and drive performance while mentoring a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists. The position carries a salary of USD 75,000 to 85,000 per year and requires a minimum of five years of recruiting experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development for a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists.
- Set clear recruiting goals, performance expectations, and accountability standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and targeted training initiatives.
- Cultivate a sense of urgency, professionalism, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment activities across multiple regions and business functions.
- Create and implement sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and proactive outreach to passive candidates.
- Build and maintain robust talent pipelines to meet current and future hiring needs.
- Assist with sourcing and recruiting for high-priority and difficult-to-fill roles.
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Partner with leadership to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities.
- Support hiring managers through the interview and selection process.
- Assist with offer negotiations and hiring decisions.
- Monitor recruiting trends and propose improvements to hiring strategies and processes.
- Oversee onboarding activities and support smooth new-hire integration.
- Maintain follow-up communication with newly hired employees.
- Collaborate with leadership to improve employee retention and overall hiring success.
- Monitor and report on recruiting performance metrics, including hiring activity, sourcing effectiveness, time-to-fill, and retention indicators.
- Identify opportunities to enhance recruiting efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of recruiting experience.
- Minimum two years of experience leading and developing a recruiting team.
- Proven success in high-volume recruiting environments.
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.
- Experience using Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, ZipRecruiter, and similar platforms.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
