Job Description
Remote Talent Acquisition Partner focused on closing and conversion for Mortgage Loan Officers across CrossCountry Mortgage's branches, owning late-stage engagement, offers, and onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with branch and regional leadership to advance strategic growth across high-performing teams.
- Coordinate with internal recruiting to align candidate pipelines, priorities, and regional market strategy.
- Target and secure experienced, high-producing Mortgage Loan Officers and teams.
- Own late-stage recruiting lifecycle, driving conversion from offer to acceptance and onboarding.
- Lead advanced-stage candidate engagement by presenting opportunities, answering questions, and guiding final decisions.
- Conduct high-impact closing conversations, clearly articulating CrossCountry Mortgage value, compensation, and growth paths.
- Influence and convert qualified candidates into hires through a consultative, relationship-driven approach.
- Partner with leadership to design and present competitive, customized offers aligned with candidate motivations and business goals.
- Facilitate open, professional discussions about compensation, transition timelines, and onboarding expectations.
- Develop tailored closing strategies for high-value candidates using market intelligence, production data, and competitor insights.
- Improve offer acceptance rates by identifying risks early and addressing candidate concerns throughout decision-making.
- Serve as the primary contact for late-stage candidates to ensure a seamless experience through offer and onboarding transitions.
- Build and maintain relationships with top talent to understand career objectives, production drivers, and long-term goals.
- Leverage production data, market insights, and industry tools to spot trends and steer recruiting strategies.
- Monitor the competitive landscape within the mortgage sector, including talent movement and market positioning.
- Track closing metrics such as offer acceptance and declines to continuously refine conversion strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum seven years of experience in mortgage banking, retail lending, or financial services, preferably in high-production or large-scale mortgage environments.
- Experience as a Recruiting Manager at a top-performing organization supporting $2B+ in production or within a leading mortgage competitor handling $5B+ annual volume.
- Deep understanding of mortgage production metrics, including loan volume, pipelines, and performance indicators.
- Strong ability to leverage data, market intelligence, and industry insights to shape strategy and influence outcomes.
- Excellent relationship-management skills with proven aptitude for engaging and influencing candidates in advanced interview stages.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and business acumen, capable of handling complex and sensitive discussions.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic, performance-driven setting while collaborating across teams.
