Job Description

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter role at Mutual of Omaha involves handling full-cycle recruiting in a hybrid Omaha, Nebraska setting, partnering with hiring managers to align talent strategy with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for a broad spectrum of roles, from entry-level to executive, ensuring a smooth and compliant hiring process.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and executives to understand business needs and craft tailored sourcing strategies that attract top talent.
  • Oversee a high volume of open requisitions, delivering strong candidates in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Foster a positive candidate experience through clear communication and professional interactions throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Apply data-driven insights to refine recruiting processes, enhance sourcing channels, and improve hiring outcomes.
  • Promote the employer brand by showcasing the company culture and values to position the organization as an insurance industry employer of choice.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recruiting and sourcing experience with a track record of filling roles across levels, including specialized positions; adept at managing multiple requisitions while maintaining candidate quality and satisfaction.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute recruiting plans aligned with business goals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; trusted advisor who can influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Project management capabilities to coordinate multiple recruitment projects simultaneously and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment at our office in Omaha, NE.

Benefits

  • Estimated salary ranges: HR Specialist 60,000 to 90,000 USD with annual bonus potential; Sr HR Specialist 75,500 to 100,000 USD with annual bonus potential.
