The Talent Acquisition Recruiter role supports critical, high-visibility hiring across departments, partnering with HR and the Talent Acquisition team to design proactive recruitment plans, screen candidates, and use data to continually improve service. The position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 72,758 to 101,816, reflecting the experience needed to attract and secure top talent for key roles across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead recruitment efforts for open positions, focusing on attracting diverse, top-tier talent.
- Collaborate with assigned departments and other HR areas to support critical, difficult, and visible roles.
- Conduct intake sessions and design creative, effective recruitment plans to meet current and future needs.
- Provide sourcing support to identify strong candidate pools.
- Perform candidate phone screening and assess fit for roles.
- Forward top candidates to hiring managers for consideration.
- Negotiate compensation to secure high-caliber hires.
- Deliver recruitment services in a positive, timely, service-oriented, cost-efficient manner.
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Partner to ensure strategic fulfillment of service line recruitment needs.
- May collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Associate Recruiter to support candidate processing and lead generation for critical roles.
- Develop talent engagement strategies, including rediscovery campaigns, event attendance, sourcing, and social outreach to college programs and other pipelines.
- Analyze department and recruiter data, using critical thinking to propose improvements for customers.
- Participate in Talent Acquisition projects and committees, representing the Mayo brand to candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or five years of recruitment experience (hospital setting preferred).
- Relevant HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, RACR, CPRP, or HCI certifications.
