Job Description

Talent Acquisition Recruiter role in Westmont, IL (onsite) supporting full-cycle hiring and a strong candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create, review, update, and maintain accurate, engaging job descriptions for internal openings
  • Post and manage open roles across recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, and other sourcing channels
  • Maintain current, accurate candidate records and hiring activity in Bullhorn (CRM/ATS)
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and internal stakeholders
  • Proactively source and engage active and passive candidates using job boards, networking, referrals, and creative sourcing methods
  • Review resumes and applications to evaluate qualifications and alignment to role requirements
  • Conduct phone screenings to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit
  • Compile detailed candidate summaries and recommendations for hiring manager review
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for internal positions, including intake through offer stage and onboarding support
  • Partner with managers and senior leadership to understand hiring needs, workforce planning, and recruitment priorities
  • Share market insight and recruiting trends to help teams stay competitive in attracting talent
  • Provide a positive, professional candidate experience across each step of the hiring process
  • Use creativity and initiative to address recruiting challenges and meet hiring goals in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required)
  • 0-3+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or related experience
  • Strong interest in recruiting and willingness to learn across different roles, skillsets, and industries
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication ability, and relationship-building strengths
  • Strong organization and time management to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-motivated team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications; ATS/CRM experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Positive attitude with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
