Job Description
As a Talent Acquisition Recruiter for Sevita in Baton Rouge, LA (onsite), you will help ensure the right people are in place to support the day-to-day operations of a business unit. This role centers on building qualified, diverse applicant pools and strengthening recruitment processes that connect candidates to meaningful work. What you’ll do
- Manage recruitment activities including sourcing, resume screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Draft employment ads and select appropriate external sources to attract qualified applicants.
- Develop and implement sourcing and recruitment strategies such as advertising campaigns, job fairs, and school programs.
- Review recruitment and retention results and provide reporting to management.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding programs, maintain confidential documents and employee files, and track applicants and related documentation.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition or related recruitment work.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with others.
- Technical capability and demonstrated knowledge of best practices across social media, applicant tracking systems, and Excel.
- A strong commitment to the company’s mission and values.
- Ability to interpret metrics and make appropriate recommendations.
