Job Description

This role sources and screens top talent across channels, partnering with leaders to guide recruiting practice and ensure compliant, efficient hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR leadership to assess staffing needs and advise on recruitment strategies, interview approaches, compensation, and labor market insights.
  • Develop precise, engaging job postings and oversee sourcing across multiple channels, including job boards, career fairs, passive outreach, and emerging platforms.
  • Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for exempt, nonexempt, and temporary roles while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates and stakeholders to support a smooth recruitment and selection process.
  • Coordinate offer delivery, preemployment screenings, compensation details, and required compliance documentation.
  • Oversee the applicant tracking system to ensure complete and accurate documentation of all recruiting activities.
  • Lead onboarding activities for internal and external hires, including internal job changes.
  • Assess internal wage equity and provide compensation recommendations aligned with organizational pay practices.
  • Analyze recruitment data, labor market trends, and process feedback to suggest improvements that support business goals.
  • Develop and sustain recruitment advertising and employer branding initiatives; participate in events to boost talent pipeline and brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to share insights and support broader workforce initiatives.
  • Perform administrative and operational tasks as needed, including training delivery, document auditing, communications, and other duties.
  • Apply business context to recruitment work, tackle moderately complex problems, and recommend solutions while exercising judgment; own assigned tasks and projects.
  • Utilize practical and theoretical knowledge of the role, expanding understanding of the function and collaborating on project components as needed.
  • Work independently on routine tasks while occasionally receiving direction, remaining accountable for assigned tasks and projects.

What you’ll do

Requirements

  • Full-cycle recruiting experience at a mid to large sized organization with 1,000+ employees; experience in a financial institution is preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently, prioritize tasks to meet hiring deadlines, and maintain high quality.
  • Agile mindset and capacity to navigate rapid change.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain strong relationships with leadership.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Professional handling of sensitive information with discretion.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using an ATS (such as Jobvite).
  • PHR or similar certification is preferred.
