Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
At Nyman Associates, Inc., a Fort Washington, PA based firm specializing in clinical student support services, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will operate in a hands-on, onsite capacity within a fast-paced environment. This role centers on sourcing and recruiting candidates, building meaningful relationships with potential hires, and representing the company brand throughout the recruiting journey.
Responsibilities
- Execute the outreach recruitment strategy to attract both active and passive candidates.
- Develop creative approaches to identify and engage passive talent.
- Serve as a primary point of contact and build influential relationships with candidates during the recruiting process.
- Identify and attract qualified candidates for open roles through the ATS, online job boards, job fairs, social media platforms, and other professional networking channels.
- Research and contact sources such as community career services, colleges, internet databases, and more to build a robust talent pipeline aligned with current and future staffing needs.
- Maintain active presence on job boards, social networks, and platforms to find and connect with candidates.
- Screen candidate resumes and job applications.
- Conduct screens and interviews (phone, video, and in-person) to assess experience, skills, and cultural fit within established timelines.
- Articulate position details and company needs to candidates exploring opportunities.
- Schedule candidate interviews (in person and virtual).
- Consult with hiring managers to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates for informed hiring decisions.
- Provide well-documented recruiting reports to the team.
- Offer ongoing feedback to managers regarding the effectiveness of the recruiting plan, process, and implementation.
- Coordinate college recruiting initiatives including scheduling and attending career fairs, meet-and-greets, and class presentations for clinical teams.
- Coordinate and attend conferences as needed.
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of recruiting experience, with demonstrated focus in education or healthcare recruiting.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong foundation in sourcing and recruiting across multiple positions, with working knowledge of recruiting through job boards and social platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, Facebook, etc.).
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- Proven success conducting interviews via phone, video, and in-person formats.
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced recruiting environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized, with excellent time-management skills.
- Ability to apply systematic approaches to problem-solving.
- High level of computer proficiency, including experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Experience using Workday as an ATS is strongly preferred.
- Self-motivated, strategic thinker who can work independently and collaboratively.
- Thoughtful and confident communicator who can guide candidates through a complex and fast-moving recruiting process.
