Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
This Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the full-cycle recruitment process to source, interview, and hire individuals aligned with Amigo Baby’s mission and values.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end process, including crafting job descriptions, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate flow.
- Candidate Sourcing & Branding: Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies across social media, professional networks, and industry events to build a diverse, sustainable talent pool.
- Relationship Building: Partner closely with the CEO, HR Manager, and Clinical Directors to assess staffing needs and provide evidence-based hiring recommendations.
- Onboarding: Support the early stages of the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition that leaves new hires feeling welcomed, connected, and set up for success.
- Strategic Planning & Data: Use recruitment metrics to forecast staffing needs and evaluate strategy effectiveness to support organizational growth and social impact.
- Events & Outreach: Represent Amigo Baby at major events, conferences, and career fairs to expand our reach (travel required).
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications or a related discipline.
- Experience: Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment or a related HR function.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Strong interviewing skills with an ability to assess both technical qualifications and cultural alignment.
- Highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred.
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation with active car insurance.
- TB Clearance.
- Successful completion of Department of Justice (DOJ) / Background check and fingerprinting.

Compensation
Pay: USD 29.00 - 32.00 per hour
