Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
Crosswalk Health, Inc. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead recruiting for respiratory therapists and other clinical positions. This is a remote role focused on building qualified candidate pipelines, hiring quickly and carefully, and keeping both candidates and leadership well informed throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruiting for respiratory therapists and other clinical roles.
- Proactively build relationships and candidate pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.
- Move quickly as priorities change while maintaining a thoughtful hiring approach.
- Keep candidates and leadership consistently informed regarding progress, timelines, and next steps.
- Proactively source candidates through networking, referrals, social media, professional groups, job boards, and creative outreach channels.
- Build qualified pipelines ahead of market launches, and adjust sourcing strategies when roles are difficult to fill.
- Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and maintain responsive communication through the hiring process.
- Guide candidates through offers, onboarding, and pre-employment requirements.
- Partner with leadership on staffing needs by keeping priorities, progress, and roadblocks highly visible.
- Maintain organized records and track pipeline activity, time-to-fill, hires, and retention.
- Improve recruiting processes and, over time, take on additional HR responsibilities based on business needs and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Prior recruiting or talent acquisition experience; healthcare recruiting is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability as a proactive networker and creative sourcer who enjoys identifying candidates rather than waiting for inbound applications.
- Strong organization, efficiency, responsiveness, and comfort taking initiative.
- Excellent follow-through and willingness to over-communicate in a fast-changing remote environment.
- Ability to manage multiple openings and shifting priorities while maintaining a strong candidate experience.
- Experience using recruiting tools such as Rippling, Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, or similar platforms.
- Preferred: Experience recruiting respiratory therapists, nurses, or allied health professionals; knowledge of multi-state hiring or healthcare credentialing; and interest in broader HR responsibilities.
