Job Description

UniFirst seeks a full-cycle Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the Sales organization. This hybrid role in Wilmington, MA requires two on-site days per week and offers a salary range of USD 61,000 to 80,000 per year. Candidates should have at least two years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and implementing talent acquisition strategies to attract, source, and select top talent.
  • Act as a full-cycle recruiter with a primary focus on supporting the Sales function.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing recruitment vendors and assess new vendor options as needed.
  • Represent UniFirst by promoting the brand internally and externally through networking, social media, conferences, and external partnerships.
  • Provide proactive recruitment solutions to hiring managers to secure a competitive edge, including coordinating hiring events.
  • Maintain solid business acumen and stay informed on recruiting industry trends and best practices.
  • Oversee ATS operations, including requisition creation, candidate onboarding, and maintenance of job postings and sponsorships.
  • Support the preparation and extension of offer letters.
  • Provide training toHiring Managers on recruiting best practices and compliance.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience while guiding Hiring Managers to maintain consistency across the organization.
  • Draft and revise job descriptions to clearly describe roles, functions, and qualifications.
  • Contribute to additional talent-related initiatives and projects as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities to meet business needs.
  • Process, policy, and detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficient with technology and quick to learn new systems.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems; Taleo experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively either independently or as part of a team.
  • Advanced speaking skills; capable of delivering clear information and facilitating learning for diverse audiences.
  • Proactive, strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
