Talent Acquisition Specialist, Sourcing
Job Description
This role supports the firm’s business professional recruiting by identifying, engaging, and developing candidate pipelines to meet current and future hiring needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Professional Talent Acquisition Recruiters to drive sourcing for active and anticipated openings across the firm.
- Attend intake discussions to align on candidate profiles, sourcing approaches, and market conditions, ensuring a consistent talent-identification process.
- Assist Recruiters in screening applicants against position requirements to advance qualified candidates.
- Help post and maintain job requisitions in Workday and other platforms, upholding accuracy and firm branding.
- Use LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday, professional networks, referrals, and online research to identify active and passive candidates.
- Perform market mapping and candidate research to support business professional hiring across departments and locations.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future needs, with emphasis on recurring or hard-to-fill roles.
- Generate candidate lists and talent pools aligned with position requirements and guidance from Recruiters and Hiring Managers.
- Conduct targeted outreach to prospective candidates to present opportunities and assess initial fit.
- Nurture relationships with prospective and passive talent to support ongoing pipeline development.
- Share talent-market insights, including availability, competitor activity, organizational structures, and hiring trends.
- Maintain candidate and pipeline data within Workday and other recruiting systems.
- Support reporting on sourcing activity, pipeline development, and recruiting initiatives.
- Provide a positive candidate experience through professional communication and timely follow-up.
- Collaborate effectively with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, Human Resources, and other stakeholders throughout the sourcing process.
- Protect confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information at all times.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system, preferably Workday.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Talent Insights, or similar sourcing platforms.
- Working knowledge of Boolean search methods and internet research techniques.
- Strong research and analytical skills to identify qualified talent and build candidate pipelines.
- Ability to organize candidate information and manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including candidate outreach and engagement.
- Ability to build productive relationships with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and candidates.
- High attention to detail and accuracy; discretion with sensitive information.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills; able to work independently and in a team.
- Capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced professional services environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting talent acquisition, recruitment, sourcing, staffing, or related functions; experience in a law firm, professional services organization, corporate setting, or staffing agency is preferred.

Education
- Minimum: High School or GED
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Data Analytics, or related field
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience supporting talent acquisition, recruitment, sourcing, staffing, or related HR functions.
- Experience conducting candidate research, sourcing, prospect identification, recruiting coordination, or pipeline development, ideally in a law firm, professional services organization, corporate environment, or staffing agency.

- Estimated hiring range: roughly $35.80 to $44 per hour, non-exempt with overtime in accordance with law.
